With the summer months beginning and in many parts of the country golf courses starting to open up again, another concern for the warmer weather is the emergence of insects—be it on the course during a round or even practicing on the driving range.

Proven® Insect Repellent is made with an odor-free ingredient called Picaridin as its primary element. Picaridin is an EPA-registered insect repellent that can be used for 12-14-hour protection and is an effective alternative to DEET, permethrin and lemon-eucalyptus oil. Picaridin is derived from the black pepper plant and hosts an abundance of benefits besides its odor-free quality.

The Proven Insect Repellent comes in either a lotion that can be rubbed on, has no smell and after a few moments dries to the point where you can’t even feel it—or a handy spray bottle that can quickly be applied and is also odorless and  non-sticky. The EPA has also determined Picaridin has low acute oral, dermal and inhalation toxicity and should pose no risk to wildlife or aquatic organisms when used as a personal insect repellent. Proven Repellent effectively repels mosquitoes and ticks that may transmit Zika, Dengue, West Nile Virus, Chikungunya, Lyme disease and Encephalitis. One application is effective for 12 to 14 hours.
